Previews

Tape Emulator recreates the character of analog tape by combining harmonic saturation, compression, tape coloration, and transport artifacts in a single processor. A bias offset, sine-fold saturation stage, and fixed 3:1 compressor work together to deliver everything from subtle warmth to heavily driven tape coloration, while parallel blending lets you dial in as much of the effect as needed. Switch between 15 ips and 30 ips tape speeds to change the tonal balance and compression response. Add authentic tape movement with adjustable wow, flutter, hiss, and channel crosstalk, or leave them disabled for a cleaner saturation effect. A four-band tone EQ, Mid/Side routing, phase inversion, automatic level staging, and an optional 4x high-quality processing mode provide additional control for mixing and mastering workflows.
