Plinth listens to the low end under the DETECT line on its screen and finds the notes that are actually there, so the sub follows the part as it moves. Each generated sub is phase-locked to the source, so it moves in step with your bass or 808 and the two never cancel. The screen marks each located fundamental with its frequency and draws every sub as it plays. BLEND adds the sub to your untouched dry signal rather than turning the original down, and at 100 percent the sub follows the level of your dry low end. There is no compressor or ducker inside. RESONANCE adds body and ring, and past halfway it adds soft overtones so phones and laptop speakers that cannot play the sub still suggest it. CLIP rounds off the peaks of your track plus the sub before they pass 0 dBFS. For a kick, a drone or a one-note 808 that makes the tracker hunt, ENGAGE replaces tracking with one sub at a fixed pitch set by OVERRIDE, and that sub still rises, falls and stops with your track. SOLO plays just the generated sub at its BLEND level, so you hear exactly what is being added, and each of the three generators can be muted from its chip. Plinth adds no latency, and the sub stays mono while your dry signal keeps its stereo image. 32 factory presets are grouped by source, covering 808s, bass DI, synth bass, kicks and the mix bus, and you can save your own. AU, VST3 and AAX on macOS; VST3 and AAX on Windows. Installs and updates through MuseHub, with no license key. Requires macOS 10.15 or later on Intel or macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon, or Windows 10 or later, 64-bit.
