ARCOMP

ARCOMP is a full-featured compressor with four detector characters and a scrolling waveform that draws the threshold as a line through the material, so you set it by looking at the signal instead of guessing from a number. It works in stereo, mid or side, with adjustable stereo link, hold, range and lookahead.

ARCOMP is a versatile compressor with four distinct detector characters. CLEAN delivers transparent control, PUNCH preserves transients while tightening the body, GLUE provides smooth, consistent bus compression, and VINTAGE responds with slower, coloured, programme-dependent movement. Each mode changes how the compressor reacts to the signal, rather than simply loading different parameter settings. Shape the response with ratios from 1:1 to 20:1, adjustable knee, attack and release, while RANGE limits the maximum gain reduction and HOLD keeps compression in place before the release begins. Up to 5 ms of LOOKAHEAD catches fast peaks before they pass through. Process the full stereo signal, mid, or sides, with adjustable STEREO LINK controlling how independently the left and right channels react. MIX provides parallel compression, while AUTO GAIN compensates for level changes to make comparisons easier. A scrolling waveform displays gain reduction against the incoming signal, while the transfer curve visualizes threshold, ratio, and knee. ARCOMP includes factory presets for vocals, drums, mastering, parallel compression, and more.

What ARCOMP offers

Four Compression Characters: CLEAN, PUNCH, GLUE, and VINTAGE provide distinct detector behaviours for transparent, transient-focused, bus, and coloured compression
Detailed Dynamics Control: Ratio from 1:1 to 20:1, adjustable knee, attack, release, HOLD, and RANGE for precise control over compression behaviour
Up to 5 ms Lookahead: Catch fast peaks before they pass through while maintaining accurate reported latency
Flexible Stereo Processing: Compress the full stereo image, mid, or sides, with adjustable STEREO LINK for independent or linked channel response
Parallel Compression & Auto Gain: Blend compressed and dry signals with MIX and maintain consistent output levels with AUTO GAIN
Visual Gain Reduction: View compression directly against the scrolling waveform alongside a transfer curve showing threshold, ratio, and knee
