“Xfer Cthulhu Explained®” provides a complete introduction to Xfer Records' Cthulhu MIDI plugin. In this course, Larry Holcombe demonstrates its features and workflow, showing how to generate chords, build arpeggiator patterns, and incorporate the plugin into your music production process. The training begins with the fundamentals of Cthulhu before demonstrating how to set it up as a MIDI effect in Logic and Ableton Live. The concepts shown can be applied to other DAWs that support MIDI effects. Next, the course explores the Chords module, where you'll learn how to generate chord progressions, edit chord sequences, organize favorite chords, and manage your chord workflow. The series concludes with Cthulhu's Arpeggiator module, demonstrating how to create rhythmic arpeggiator patterns and melodic lines for use in your productions.
