Adaptive Tilt EQ for Bass
GE-1 is a tilt EQ and dynamic ducking plugin designed specifically for bass and low-frequency instruments. It analyzes the incoming bass to find the pivot frequency that best fits the track, then lets you balance weight and clarity from a single control while keeping the kick and bass from competing for the same low-end space. The plugin features a one-button LEARN system that captures several seconds of bass playing and automatically configures the pivot frequency, side-chain threshold and ratio, and kick phase alignment. With the kick routed to the side-chain, it also sets the bass level against the kick, so every bass track lands at the same loudness and stays there as you move Gravity. From there, a single Gravity control tilts the low and high bands around the pivot, making it easy to dial in body or definition without reaching for multiple bands. Kick and bass conflicts are resolved by spectral ducking that follows the shape of the kick and carves only the bass, weighted by whether bass energy is actually present in each band so that silent regions are left untouched. Additional sub-cut filtering, true-peak safety limiting, latency-compensated bypass and a real-time analyzer overlaying input, output and kick make GE-1 suitable for studio mixing, live performance and low-end focused sound design.
