This collection features a consistent array of articulations, which makes trying out colours as easy as copy and pasting the music between instruments: expressive sustains with true legato samples (including fast legatos) for realistic melodic lines; smart speed-controlled staccatos based on note duration and tempo; trills (with both semi tone and whole tone intervals), flutter tongue, harmonics/overtones, sampled mordents, falls, turns, accents, marcatos, and still/senza vibrato sustains round out a truly useful palette of colourful articulations to work with. Get ready to be blown away!
Muse Sounds require no set up or effort to work with - simply write your music, and push play.
Best of all, Muse Woodwinds is completely FREE for you to use in your compositions.

Somehow even with all the paid MuseSounds, this still has the widest instrument selection. It's the only MuseSounds library with saxophones, for example.
This is a seriously impressive library, especially given the fact that it's free. I don't think there's a better library anywhere near this price.

Let's add more instruments like Bass Oboe, Contrabass Clarinet, and Section woodwinds for each instrument because for Concert band work we need the section sounds
The instruments sound excellent but I'd like basset horn and heckelphone
i'll want to you add more realistic recorder flutes in muse sounds and saxophone growl in staff text
For a free product, its very solid. Sound quality is decent, even though the bassoon needs some work. It performs its duties as a woodwinds library.
Since 2 years, i've been using muse sound, and i can say this is the best soundfont of all i've ever heard on musescore ! The instruments are all well balanced, have all an incredible sound !
+ All the update they get kept getting them better.

I Feel like there should be more bass instruments like Bass Sax and Contrabass Clarinet. but other than That this is pretty good
I love this sound pack for the most part. The one little quibble I have with it is that staccato for the flutes is nearly inaudible at quiet dynamics. I would expect the staccato to be quiet, but not almost inaudibly quiet.
This sound pack is great, but i don't understand the sense in having a contrabass flute and alto flute, which are hardly ever used, then not having a more commonly used instrument like the bass saxophone. I use the bass sax in many of my compositions and would love to see it as a sound
