Andes JX

Andes-JX is a polyphonic subtractive synthesizer designed around a classic analog-style signal path with modern digital implementation. It features two PolyBLEP and DPW oscillators, noise generation, amplitude and filter envelopes, global LFO modulation, glide, velocity response, key tracking, stereo width, random panning, and expressive MIDI control. The filter section includes a state-variable multimode filter and a nonlinear Moog-style ladder filter, allowing sounds ranging from clean and controlled to more characterful resonant timbres. Andes JX includes a collection of factory presets inspired by locations across the Ecuadorian Andes and is intended both as a practical musical instrument and as an open-source platform for exploring synthesizer DSP.
