ARROOM reduces unwanted room reverb from recordings, helping bring distant or washed-out vocals and dialogue forward without removing the natural character of the space. Rather than treating all reverberation equally, ARROOM focuses on the late reverb tail that lingers after words and blurs clarity. Early reflections, which provide the natural sense of where a recording was made, are left in place. There is no noise or room profile to capture beforehand. DETECT analyzes the recording itself to estimate the room’s decay time automatically, while EARLY lets you define where the early reflections end and the unwanted tail begins. FLOOR and SMOOTHING help keep stronger processing natural and reduce unwanted ringing artifacts. DELTA listening lets you hear what is being removed, and the processing range can be adjusted to focus the effect where it is needed. ARROOM reports 2048 samples of latency for automatic DAW compensation.
