STEREO WIDTH
ARWIDTH is a stereo imaging processor for widening or narrowing a signal using mid/side processing while keeping the low end focused. WIDTH ranges from full mono at 0% through an untouched 100% to double width at 200%, with a bit-exact neutral point at the center. MONO BELOW folds frequencies beneath a selected cutoff back into the center while leaving higher frequencies wide, helping maintain a solid low end as the rest of the stereo image expands. When turned fully down, the filter is bypassed entirely without leaving phase shift on the side channel. A built-in goniometer and correlation meter provide visual feedback on stereo behavior and mono compatibility. Dedicated MONO and FLIP R monitoring controls help expose potential phase problems, while constant-power PAN and ±24 dB OUTPUT controls provide final positioning and level adjustment.
