“Remixing Vocal EDM” walks you through the complete process of remixing a vocal-based EDM track from start to finish. In this course, Chris Herrera breaks down each stage of the remix workflow, from preparation to final arrangement. The training begins with analyzing the original song to understand its structure and key elements. From there, you’ll learn how to organize your session, edit and retime vocals, and determine when to use audio tracks versus MIDI tracks in your remix. Next, Chris demonstrates how to create new musical parts that bring fresh energy and direction to the track. You’ll also explore approaches for shaping your remix into DJ-friendly versions suitable for performance settings. The course includes the original session used in the series along with five bonus EDM track stem sets for hands-on practice and experimentation.
