In this course, Adam Pollard (Multiplier) walks through the essential elements involved in building a complete EDM track from the ground up. The series begins with an overview of EDM structure and arranging, along with organizational tips such as color-coding your project for efficient workflow. From there, the focus shifts to kick drum impact and design, followed by writing and shaping synth parts. Next, the course explores bass in EDM, including approaches to designing bass sounds that work effectively with kick and synth elements. Additional lessons cover builds, groove quantization, and processors such as reverb and delay, along with incorporating sound effects into your productions. Further training addresses stereo width and its role in enhancing the listening experience, as well as how different songwriting approaches can shape the outcome of an EDM track. The course concludes with automation techniques and audio routing options for final polish.
