Previews

QSynthi is a synthesizer that transforms quantum simulations into dynamic, evolving sound. By translating the behavior of the Schrödinger equation into audio, it creates adaptive tones that continuously change over time, opening new possibilities for sound design and musical exploration. The instrument lets you interact with quantum-inspired simulations, using their motion characteristics to generate evolving textures, rich chords, or melodic lines. It also provides an interactive way to explore physical phenomena through sound, including simulations of the harmonic oscillator and the quantum tunnel effect. Developed alongside research presented at the International Conference on Auditory Display (ICAD) 2023, QSynthi combines quantum simulation with real-time sound synthesis to create a unique experimental instrument.
