I originally thought this plugin was broken, but the real issue was my setup. I had Windows installed on my hard drive instead of my SSD, and nothing ran properly because of it—my DAW included. After wiping my system and reinstalling Windows on the SSD, the plugin finally worked exactly as intended, and it’s become one of my favourites. One thing I learned along the way: if you’ve installed Audacity from the official website and you’re having compatibility issues, that version can linger even after uninstalling. The cleanest fix for me was reinstalling Windows and then installing Audacity through Muse Hub instead. That combination finally gave me a stable environment where the plugin worked perfectly. So the takeaway is simple: If everything feels cursed and nothing fixes it, a full reinstall might be the only way to get a clean slate. In my case, it was absolutely worth it.

Yes the trial was a little glitchy, but I worked out that all you need to do is to refresh it and it works fine. Just make sure your audacity is the latest version and closed when you install it. Then refresh plugins and it works!

For whatever reason Audacity claims it is incompatible and disables it. Uninstalling and reinstalling audacity did not seem to fix this issue.

Load in new version of Audacity and refresh plugins.. Working for me.

I could not get this to work in Audacity or for Audacity to link to Musehub. I was using the latest version of Audacity, but I had to reinstall it for the right connections to be made. Now I can use this plugin and others from Musehub.

Won't load. Authorization not working. Not even sure what folder the VST is in because the Musehub app doesn't clarify.

This is what I’ve been looking for to enhance my audio recordings. Works great for me.

All the previous thumbs down reviews reflect my same experience. Whatever this is supposed to be or do ... NOT ready for prime time.

I have tried to contact Customer Support to no avail….and this app does not show up anywhere. The installation location in MacOS shows NO VST elements anywhere.

I purchased MBC about 2 weeks ago. worked OK until today. It says "No Authorisation. Please visit Muse Hub to purchase" and when select "OK" It crashes Audacity. When I scan for plugins it says it found one incompatible (MBC) and then it turns it off to prevent Audacity from crashing.

It seems this is not compatible with Audacity...???

Can't find any way to open it after fours days of talking to customer service without any solution. They only respond once a day which is not very helpful.

Call me impressed. I've been recording and editing vocal recordings for over 30-years, and the Polyspectral MBC has on fist use greatly simplified my pre-publication process. Call me impressed. Polyspectral MBC has more than paid for itself on day one. I'll be using this plug-in on most all of my audio editing projects. Many thanks to the Polyspectral MBC team. Christopher
