I love it, helps a lot but staccatos I have conflict with. Especially with trumpet. They are not short enough and don't align with woodwinds very well which have excellent staccatos. It shows especially with genres like Jazz. Also, staccatos just don't work on muted trumpet in-fact, they work more as accents. I'm not sure if that is with general muted instruments. Also, fix trombone dynamics, they are barely balanced. Metso-forte to forte feels like piano to fortissimo.

Brass in general ESPECIALLY trumpets sound egregious. I don't even know which band these instruments should be played in, as they always sound out of place no matter if I'm writing for marching, jazz, orchestra, etc.. Tubas keep clipping and do not at all follow articulation markings; chords do not blend well with trombones and horns and as a matter of fact, the brass section as a whole just sounds like one incoherent cacophony of sound. Glissandos and certain ornaments just... do nothing. To add to the aforementioned articulation complaint; it's so bad that notes that should simply separate with the addition of a marcato or staccato marking, I now have to change the note to half its original value (i.e., quarter to 8th, 8th to 16th, etc.) for it to even sound LIKE separate notes. To prove to myself I wasn't crazy, I made the brass section play a simple quarter note en masse, and even repeated the experiment with articulation markings... Trash. And the trumpets... GOD what isn't there to say about the trumpets. My old middle school band's trumpets sound LEAGUES better than whatever the hell you guys were cooking with these. The scream register cuts off about halfway and high notes even within reasonable range just sound weak altogether. It sounds like the player has a migraine. If I'm being honest, your composers are better off using the basic sound font and fiddling with the mixer settings. All in all, an incredibly shameful update. Sickening.

Powerfull horns, and just for that (and the fact that's free), I love it !

Makes brass sound horrible when using Jazz

Gilly

The trumpets need a lot of improvements. The trumpet section sounds as if the players are confused about how to play their instruments, while the solo trumpet skips notes here and there when playing, which is very annoying.

First of all, Dynamic...if dynamic is from 0-100, then pp is 2-5, p is 10, mp is 20, mf is 30, f is 90, FF is 95. YES, the gap is THAT BIG Second, They sampled this thinking its like sampling Strings and Wood Winds (Which they did good job of). Everything is either Sustain or the Short Staccatos. Accent are way to over powered in the sustain notes. Third, most trumpet player uses a Bb trumpet which can play down to a concert E, they stopped at F#.

I bet if you had added a euphonium originally when you made this pack for the first time, it wouldn't be costing money now. 15 dollars (on sale btw) for a euphonium is CRAZY. The tuba has a glitch with the audio and that's already a separate problem. Where is my euphonium? So sad that you're separating it from the rest just to get a few more bucks. All you had to do was add it to the free brass pack like how you did when you added a ton more percussion instruments to the free percussion pack. I was so happy when I got the ad for the euphonium on MuseScore, and then I checked the site and turns out, you ruined everything. Make it free. Refund everyone who buys it.

i really love this musesound but it's lacking some things. 1. no portamento glissando support, i want this so bad, especially for the trombones. 2. please make it so trumpet a4 can go down to at least a concert e3. (solo trumpet can but trumpet a4 can't for some reason) 3. a tuba a2 or a3 would be nice, same with bass trombone.

These sounds are extremely good but are missing a key part of the brass section... EUPHONIUMS! We need euphoniums and it's a major part of the ensemble. Please add it soon!!

Partner Response: We have just added a Euphonium library to MuseHub. Thanks for your feedback!
