ARGLUE is a bus compressor designed to pull drums, instrument groups, and full mixes together with controlled, cohesive compression. Its stepped controls follow a classic bus-compressor workflow, with four RATIO settings from 1.5:1 to 10:1, six ATTACK settings from 0.1 to 30 ms, and five RELEASE settings plus AUTO. A 5 ms RMS window smooths the detector response, while the same gain reduction is applied to both channels to preserve the stereo balance. An adjustable sidechain high-pass filter from 60 to 185 Hz reduces the influence of low frequencies on the detector, helping prevent kicks and bass from making the entire mix pump without filtering the audio itself. AUTO RELEASE adapts to the programme material, recovering quickly after short peaks and more gradually under sustained compression. Parallel MIX and automatic makeup gain provide additional control over the final result, while the scrolling waveform displays the threshold directly against the signal. Below the compression knee, the output remains bit-identical to the input. ARGLUE operates with zero latency and includes 12 factory presets, A/B comparison, and full undo.

What ARGLUE offers

program-dependent AUTO Stereo-Linked Compression: Applies identical gain reduction to both channels to preserve the stereo balance
Sidechain High-Pass Filter: Reduce low-frequency influence on the detector from 60 to 185 Hz without altering the audio path
Program-Dependent Auto Release: Adapts recovery to the material, measured at 72 ms after a short peak and 600 ms under sustained load
Clean, Zero-Latency Processing: 0.026% THD at 4 dB of gain reduction, with bit-identical output below the knee
Flexible Workflow Tools: Parallel MIX, auto makeup gain, scrolling waveform display, 12 presets, A/B comparison, and full undo
