CHORUS / DIMENSION
ARDIM is a stereo chorus designed to preserve the mono sum. The effect is written into the side signal, so summing the output to mono removes the modulation instead of folding it back into the dry signal as comb filtering. With MONO at zero, the mono sum matches the input, measured at −149 dB residual. The dry path is never attenuated. MIX adds the modulation on top rather than crossfading between wet and dry, making the output bit-identical to the input at MIX zero. At MIX 100%, the effect sits within 0.1 dB of the dry signal for a full, clearly audible chorus. Four characters cover different modulation styles: CHORUS for classic movement, ENSEMBLE for a richer multi-voice sound, FLANGER for feedback-based sweeping, and DOUBLE for slow, long-delay movement that creates a second-take feel. Choose two, four, or six voices and adjust their spread through the modulation cycle. Cubic interpolation helps preserve high-frequency detail as the delay lines move, while the display visualizes every voice and shows the measured mono difference in real time.
