Insert Iron on each track as a Channel and switch one instance on your master to Bus. Instances in the same group find each other and form one console, and every window shows the whole group as live lanes. From the Bus you can ride any Channel's trim, solo across the group, and scale every track's color at once with ALL SATURATION while each track keeps its balance. On a Channel, TONE blends console color in beside the direct sound, which stays untouched. Like a transformer core, it saturates the lows before the highs, mostly with even harmonics at normal levels and with odd harmonics joining as you push harder. COMP adds gentle 1.5:1 compression ahead of the saturation, never more than 6 dB, and each Channel gets one of 32 fixed console voicings that stay saved with the session. The Bus processes the real mix your DAW sends it. Its console EQ has four wide curves for lows, low mids, high mids and air. PUSH is glue compression that never takes more than 3 dB, with a slow attack that lets each hit through, and FLOOD flips it into upward expansion so a loud chorus blooms up. WIDTH widens the sides above 130 Hz and leaves the low end mono, and SPACE adds warmth from the lows and presence from the highs. Audio never passes between instances: each Channel processes its own track and they share control data, so Iron adds zero latency everywhere. Groups 1 to 8 let a drum-bus console and a mix-bus console run side by side, and nine Bus presets, including Clean Console Off for on and off comparisons, get you started. AU, VST3 and AAX on macOS; VST3 and AAX on Windows. Installs and updates through MuseHub, with no license key. Requires macOS 10.15 or later on Intel or macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon, or Windows 10 or later, 64-bit.

TONE adds transformer-style saturation in parallel, and the low end saturates soonest
ALL SATURATION from 0 to 200 percent scales every track's color while keeping the balance
Bus EQ at 45 Hz, 550 Hz, 3 kHz and 22 kHz, each a wide curve with up to 6 dB of boost or cut
PUSH glue capped at 3 dB, FLOOD upward expansion, and WIDTH above 130 Hz for a mono low end
Zero latency, 32 console voicings, correlation and pre-master meters, and per-module bypass

What’s new

  • You can now save your own presets: open the PRESETS menu, choose Save preset..., and your presets appear under User in the same menu, where you can rename or delete them. A new Channel now picks the console voicing least used in its group, in any group, and Flood's lift now matches its stated 4.2 dB.
