You turn it until it sounds right. The reverb goes from tight rooms to realistic halls to caves that never stop ringing. The delay bounces across the stereo field with a slight drift that keeps every repeat alive. Three stages of saturation add warmth, tape squash, and grit to the effect, while your dry signal stays completely untouched. Push Feedback past noon and Howl stops being an effect and becomes an instrument. The delay turns into a resonant oscillator that your playing feeds, and it snarls rather than clips. The filter sits inside the loop, so it reshapes every repeat a little more than the last. Guitar, bass, synths, vocals, drums, field recordings. Ambient, shoegaze, post-rock, drone, industrial, dub.
