ARDRUM

ARDRUM is an eight-pad drum synthesizer with kick, rim, snare, clap, closed hat, open hat, low tom, and high tom. There are no samples. Every hit is synthesized in real time using a tone with four band-limited shapes and frequency modulation, resonant filtered noise, click, drive, and adjustable variation. Every pad uses the same synthesis architecture with different settings, so sounds are not limited to their labels. A tom can become a bell, a snare can become a clap, and each pad can be shaped into entirely new percussion. The integrated step sequencer provides four patterns with accents, swing, triplet rates, and pattern lengths from 1 to 16 steps. It can lock to the host or run from its own clock, with sequencer hits landing on the same samples as equivalent MIDI notes. A dedicated drum bus combines an eight-delay-line room, glue compression, and drive. Individual pads can also be routed through seven additional stereo outputs for separate processing in your DAW, with choke groups, mute controls, and General MIDI drum mapping included. ARDRUM includes 100 kits across eleven styles, including analog, house, techno, electro, hip hop, trap, lofi, experimental, drum and bass, synthwave, and afro latin. Each kit includes four patterns, with individual pad levels set by measurement for consistent output.
