ARMETER is a transparent audio metering plugin that measures loudness, true peak, frequency content, and stereo behavior without processing the signal. Audio passes through unchanged, with sample-for-sample input and output verified on every build. Loudness measurement follows ITU-R BS.1770, providing 400 ms momentary, three-second short-term, and gated integrated readings alongside loudness range and true peak in dBTP. Its K-weighting filter coefficients match the published standard values to machine precision. A logarithmic spectrum analyzer with optional peak hold provides frequency feedback, while correlation and side-energy displays help assess the stereo image and identify potential cancellation. The display automatically stops updating when no audio is playing.

What ARMETER offers

EBU R128 Loudness Metering: Monitor momentary, short-term, and gated integrated loudness
True Peak & Loudness Range: Measure true peak in dBTP alongside overall loudness variation
Transparent Pass-Through: Leaves audio completely unchanged, verified sample for sample on every build
Logarithmic Spectrum Analyzer: View frequency content with an optional peak-hold trace
Stereo Correlation Meter: Identify stereo relationships and potential cancellation when correlation falls below zero
Side-Energy Monitoring: Measure side-channel energy for additional insight into the stereo image
