“Singer / Songwriter Production & Arranging” shows you how to take a raw song idea and develop it into a fully arranged and mixed production. In this course, Eli Krantzberg demonstrates the process step by step using the song “Sticks and Stones” by Rex Strother. The training begins by comparing the original song idea with the completed mix. You’ll then explore how experimenting with tempo and feel can shape the direction of a track. From there, Eli builds out the arrangement by adding acoustic and electric guitar parts and explaining how arrangement decisions affect the overall production. Next, the course focuses on vocals, including cleaning up phrasing and pitch with Melodyne, thickening the lead vocal, creating harmonies, and importing and editing additional vocal tracks. The final section moves into mixing, starting with drum routing and processing, followed by bass and keyboard enhancement, guitar tone shaping, vocal processing, and finishing touches with automation. The course concludes with a review and playback of the completed song.
