NIVIEM EQP-1 is a component-level emulation of the legendary Pultec EQP-1A program equalizer (1961). The plugin reproduces every block of the original schematic — the passive LC parallel-shelves network that gives the famous Pultec trick (simultaneous low boost and cut for tight, punchy bass), the series-resonant LC tank for the silky high-frequency boost, the ECC83 / ECC82 push-pull tube make-up amplifier with three transformers (input, interstage, output), and the global negative-feedback loop that linearises the chain back to spec. Modern Niviem extensions layer on top: M/S routing with per-side parameter divergence, opt-in HPF / LPF helper filters, swappable input valves (12AX7 / 5751 / 12AY7), smart Auto Gain for honest bypass A/B, A/B settings slots, and a Hardware Accurate mode that pins every extension back to the schematic for the purist path. 52 factory presets across nine categories. Built-in 65-entry Nivipedia encyclopedia.

What EQP-1 offers

Component-level recreation of the 1961 passive LC topology, ECC83 / ECC82 tube make-up amplifier, and three-transformer character (input + interstage + output).
Parallel low boost + cut at the same dial frequency for tight, punchy bass — impossible on conventional EQs, defined sixty years of mix-bus practice.
M/S routing with per-side parameter divergence, opt-in HPF / LPF helpers, smart Auto Gain for honest bypass A/B, A/B settings slots.
12AX7 / 5751 / 12AY7 with real DSP models (Maillet polynomial + Koren space-charge) — not cosmetic, the saturation character actually changes.
One-click master switch that pins every modern extension back to schematic values for the purist 1961 path.
Across nine categories — Vocal, Drum, Bass, Guitar, Mix Bus, M/S, Creative, Helper Filters, Init. Plus 65-entry built-in encyclopedia covering every control and concept.
