This exclusive Muse Sounds Edition takes this further, with this special edition crafted for deep integration with MuseScore Studio. The collection includes everything from the sharp snap of a marching snare to the resonant boom of bass drums and the rich, complex tones of marching tenors. It even goes beyond the basics, offering unique elements like showstyle single tenors, cymbals, drum major commands, and vocal shouts, all meticulously sampled to add an extra layer of realism to your work. This edition has been specially designed for MuseScore Studio, taking full advantage of the Muse Sounds Engine and MuseScore’s latest features, ensuring that each sound integrates seamlessly into your compositions. Hello! I gave a review on the Virtual Percussion Musesound a while back, and I believe now would be a good time to leave one for Drumline as well. As of right now, everything seems amazing. The sounds are clean and the opportunities are endless with these sounds. The ability to also change the mapping is great, along with the noteheads. I think my only problem as of right now is that since the 0.9.20 release is that since the Cymbal line sound has been altered similarly with the Vibraphone from VP, the sucks after sizzles are off by a 16th note, and the only solution I have as of right now is to use Hi-Hats/Crunches instead. This does mess with the writing and sound, and I hope it gets fixed in the future.

Been using this thing since it came out and I have to say its a MASSIVE upgrade from Muse Drumline. VDL is officially like $200 or something so you get this for much cheaper and you get the industry standard battery sounds. If you’re on the fence about it my advice is just get it. Most of the major bugs have been rid of at this point. Some of the sounds like snare rimshots for some reason sound slightly different but can’t really complain at this price.

I really want to give a thumbs up, but like the title says, the battery piano is too quiet, it's a great pianissimo though! But is SUPER hard to hear with front ensemble playing. Turning up the mixer doesn't help because then even a metzo-forte sounds like a fortissimo. I would be happy to give VDL a thumbs up but this is a huge problem for me, thank you.

One of my biggest concerns going from Finale to MuseScore was the drumline sounds. However this was exactly what I needed to fully make the switch. Same high quality sounds as the finale version. My only issue is I wish the Cymbal patches were the same. I'm just missing a few of my favorite marching cymbal sounds. Other than that this is by far the best Marching Percussion kit you can find.

I have had this plug-in since December of 2024 and since then I have seen countless BAD REVIEWS on many issues but none of those have happened to me. It's definitely user error from others lol. Yes you can change noteheads without having the sound changed if you do it right. You can edit what line or space of the staff you want it to be in. Edit and Save a drumset program for crying outloud. If you load the piece you are working on and it's weird just don't freak out and load your stuff correctly. lol. chill. If you want your sounds from this MUSE-VDL I think you have to be connected to the internet so that it can pull the sounds from MUSEHUB. If you aren't connected to the internet they probably(maybe) won't load. But it has worked for me on and off a network. People need to chill

They fixed the issues that they had made within the last couple of updates but something I've noticed is how muddy the quads are now. They claimed to have fixed the round robin but it seems like it has gotten worse especially on triplet roll passages. On top of that, the two spock drums sound virtually identical and the two shot notes only play one sound. Hope this gets resolved soon since a lot of other things had already been addressed.

This is a must have if your getting the VDL percussion pack!

I don't notice most the issues everyone else seems to have - it has worked perfectly since I first bought it. Only issue I seem to notice is that battery is really quiet (like near inaudible at piano). Accents are really the only things that can be heard at lower dynamics. Other than that, this a great software!

This is way to buggy to even be released. You can't even change noteheads for things like cross sticks and shots. If you do, it defaults to a regular hit. This needs major improvement.

This is a must need for anyone writing for the marching arts! The recent updates helped a lot of the mapping and playback, and I'm sure that future updates will make it even better! One thing I've noticed is that (as of 9/11/24) buzz rolls don't play back when 'edge' is selected. It does when it's applied to a long duration note, but not when it's a short note (like a quarter or eighth). That's my only complaint, and beside that, this pack is fantastic!
