BO-1 Bass Octaver

BO-1 is a bass octaver designed specifically for generating powerful octave-down subharmonics from bass guitar and bass recordings. Using adaptive pitch detection and period-synchronous resynthesis, it delivers clean tracking and stable octave generation while minimizing the glitches and octave errors often associated with traditional octave effects. The plugin generates both -1 octave and -2 octave signals, each with independent level control, allowing anything from subtle low-end reinforcement to deep synth-like bass textures. A dedicated LEARN function analyzes incoming bass audio and automatically optimizes tracking settings by adjusting sensitivity and gate parameters for reliable performance. Additional tone shaping controls provide control over character, body, growl, and harmonic coloration, making BO-1 suitable for studio production, live performance, and creative bass sound design.
