Sheet Music Scanner Reviews

Sorry, I was happy to find a software that could transcribe some of my sheets music pdf but the result is really poor for me. As well as i'll transcribe it manualy, i regret my purchase :(

I tested it with an orchestral score containing numerous tuplets, polyrhythms, meter changes, and time and key signature changes. It recognized most notes (approximately 97-99%). HOWEVER, although it recognized some tuplets, it didn’t recognize most of them, so, polyrythms were pretty much gone, as well as some time signature changes, dynamics and some minor indications. Therefore, some editing is neccesary in order to achieve a good result, at least with complex orchestral music. Can’t wait to use it for work and school! Looking forward to further updates, so far it’s good for an early version.

For me the app does okay, but I can never trust it to open and work. So that is quite annoying. Hope they will do better.

The scanner so far handled all of my scores super well, I’m surprised and impressed! Cannot wait to use it more next months :).

I put it a failry complicated piece by bach (Partita 2) And it was recognized 98% correct. I was honestly impressed! I hope you guys can get to the 100 soon. This would help me a lot with reedditing

I tried so many different products. From Newzik to Photoscore to Soundslice (which, in opposite to what a previous comment is saying, is mostly producing crap), this here is working very well. To be honest, it does struggle sometimes (I do not understand why) with triplets, but I hope this will be resolved soon. Besides that, some slurs are missing, its a minor thing, but it is indeed annoying

I compared this to soundslice.com and soundslice.com was better for all my test scores. That this would be the worlds most accurate is a big lie. Also I can’t download the files in Musescore format, it just stops at 1 %.

Gets the work done, pretty useful tool, you just need to know to use it properly

It takes ( for longer pdfs) a long time to be proccest sometimes. But then results are good! Jazz leadsheet only work sometimes, i hope they will improve that. Complicated classic pieces work very well tho.

In the past i mostly used photoscore to digitize my scores. The design here is very simple ( i hope there will be some updates) but it does it basic job very well. I have mostly old scores with degraded qualitiy wich i would like to re-write. Besides one missing tie everything was recognized very well! Good job!

Just downloaded this, and like the previous review, it won't load... also downloaded the "user guide" and it's a joke. Can't load, all I get is this message: Unable to launch Sheet Music Scanner . Muse Hub was unable to find where Sheet Music Scanner is installed on your computer. This can happen if Sheet Music Scanner is installed in an unusual location or underneath a different user account. Waiting to hear from customer service before asking for a refund.

Probably a Muse Hub Issue, but this is a terrible first impression.
