Muse Keys Reviews
the grand piano sounds wonderful but the mf sounds like a forte and even when turning the mixer down you can still hear how aggressive the keys sound when being pressed when the dynamic is mf other then that its good
An update released within a year of writing this review (can't remember when) broke the pedal effect for grand pianos even further. Sometimes for long pedals, they randomly stop sustaining.
Used to work for me. Now it doesn’t…not that I used it much anyways…You are way better off downloading a free sf2 font. Mason Hamlin is a good one.
Partner Response: Sorry to hear that, and thanks for flagging it. A few quick things to try: make sure MuseHub is fully updated, then re-download the Muse Keys sample library from the Library tab (a corrupted download is a common cause of "stopped working"). If that doesn't fix it, please reach out to support with your OS and MuseHub version so we can dig into logs. Thanks!
After the update, the sound is terrible. I much preferred the previous sound of all the instruments. They had warmth, depth and character. Now is sounds like a slightly upgraded midi.
Partner Response: Thanks for the detailed comparison — that kind of specific feedback is really useful and we'll pass it along to the team working on Muse Keys.
please revert the update - it does not sound as good as it used to be
Please return to the old sound for Muse Keys.
This sound no longer appears on the Musescore app, despite being installed previously and reinstalled again. Disappointing. This used to be such a nice simple app and its gone down hill in the grand style.

Please, I earnestly request that you bring back the previous version. Please, I earnestly request that you bring back the previous version. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with everything else. Please just change the grand piano sound back to the previous version. The upright piano sound is good (not sure if it was changed), but otherwise, I'm very satisfied with everything else.
Partner Response: The Muse Keys Grand Piano original preset is still available. Simply assign a sound flag to the beginning of your score with COMMAND T on Mac or CONTROL T on PC, click the speaker icon and select "Orchestral." You can hide SoundFlags if you don't want them visible from the View/Show/Show sound flags menu option.
All the Muse Keys Pianos are now missing
Partner Response: Hi there, please update both MuseHub and MuseScore Studio, then uninstall and reinstall the Soft Piano library. This should restore the library and resolve the issue. If you continue to have issues, please reach out to our support team here: https://support.musehub.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new Thanks!

Please bring back the version from around 2 years ago. This one was almost perfect and didn’t need any “improvements”. Thank you!
Grand Piano was, as some comments say, one of the best-sounding pianos ever. But now they've even removed the Soft Piano? Why????

They sounded great for a while, though recently for whatever reason, the keys (Grand Piano in particular) sound extremely harsh and do not sound like they used to. Please revert it back

Sounds even more robotic than ever!
the piano now sounds more "distant", and the keys are being hit harsher as if its really gets hammered and it makes this "metallic" sound
sounds are quite realistic, however the problem is with dynamics and accents, to which accents don't even work, and the left hand is often times WAY too loud. but this is easily fixed with invisible dynamics, but it is a bit annoying.
I agree with a previous comment about the grand piano being worse than before with the recent update. My main issue is that the attacks sound too sharp.

This latest update seemingly messed up the grand piano to sound rather obnoxious, will happily change back to a positive review once there is a workaround. The previous version was wonderful but MuseScore won't load Muse Keys at all if I replace the Grand Piano sound files with the previous version. Changing from Pop piano back to studio helps slightly but it's still significantly worse. Would love if there was an effect I could apply to restore the previous softer sound.

I just found out about MuseCore Studio an all of these sounds. I'm so happy this is free, they are truly amazing. Thank you so much for creating such wonderful software to create music.
Very professional for a free sound font.
Sounds very good for a free musesound! The only issue I found was that accents don't play so if that is fix it would be a perfect 10/10!
