I tend to have crash outs when saving a project every so often. But then I can go back in and retrieve it and save under a different name. That can be frustrating BUT overall I find audacity easy to use and effective for podcasts and community radio shows

Although it is incompatible with a good number of plug-ins, and Audacity sometimes stops starting or hangs during processing, forcing a forced termination, it is still very useful and easy-to-use software. I used this software on Apple Macintosh MacOS 8 and 9 almost 30 years ago. I have the impression that the basics of the UI have not changed since then, but that is why it is so intuitive and easy to use. Thanks! Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
