The training begins with the 1176/LA-2A compressor combination for controlling dynamics, a method used in both tracking and mixing scenarios. From there, you’ll explore splitting EQ responsibilities across multiple processors, using one for corrective adjustments and another for tonal shaping. Additional lessons demonstrate controlling unwanted resonances and harmonics using Oeksound Soothe2 and FabFilter Pro-MB, applied to piano and live strings.
