Berlin Harps Reviews

May 20, 20261.0.2

The sound itself is amazing, I’ll even use it as a sample for my professional orchestra recording! But when you work with a score - Vienna harp is much more convenient, because here dynamics simply do not work well. The distance between mp and mf is ridiculous, mp is actually ppp, mf is actually f, so it’s not possible to work because you will need to add 4 different harps, adjust mixer for each of them, and then only you’ll get a natural distance between p,mp,mf and f. Please, fix it, we’ll be wating!

I love using Berlin Harps, it may be a little quieter than you expect but genuinely amazing and so surreal to hear.

I actually love this library so much—but when the harmonic “o” or the “harmonics” text are applied, the harmonics are played at the written pitch, which is incorrect. Harp harmonics are played the octave above what is written: for example, a harmonic notation over C4 will be played on the string C4 (or B#), but will sound the octave higher.

Amazing timbre of each of the two harps. They need just some improvement about the dynamics, but they are better than the cinematic library.
