ARDITHER is a precision dithering plugin designed for the final stage of your audio chain. When reducing bit depth, it adds carefully controlled noise before rounding to help turn harsh, signal-related quantization distortion into a smoother, less noticeable noise floor. Choose TPDF for traditional dither, SHAPED to move more of the noise into less sensitive high frequencies, or switch dithering off for straightforward bit-depth reduction. Select from 24, 20, 16, 12, or 8-bit output, with every sample precisely quantized to the chosen depth. AUTO BLANK keeps digital silence silent by disabling dither when no signal is present, making it useful for gaps between tracks and other silent sections. With processing set to OFF, the signal passes through completely unchanged. ARDITHER adds zero latency and is designed to sit last in your chain, immediately before export.
