ARGEN is a precision signal generator built for testing, calibration, and audio measurement. Generate five essential test signals: sine wave, logarithmic sweep from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, white noise, pink noise, and a one-sample impulse. Route signals to both channels, left or right only, or in mid or side mode for stereo testing. Side mode sends the channels out of phase, making the signal cancel completely when summed to mono. Accuracy is central to ARGEN. Output levels are measured across settings from -60 to 0 dBFS, while sine-wave frequencies remain precise across the audible range. Its seven-pole pink-noise filter also provides a more even response across octave bands for dependable acoustic and system measurements. When the generator is stopped, your original audio passes through unchanged, sample for sample. Starting and stopping is smoothly ramped to prevent unwanted clicks.
