ARPUMP creates rhythmic volume dips using a customizable curve. Draw the shape you want by moving points and bending segments, then choose whether the curve follows your DAW’s beat grid or responds to an incoming sidechain signal. BEAT mode creates tempo-synced pumping without requiring any sidechain routing. It follows the absolute bar position, keeping the effect aligned when looping or jumping around the timeline. SIDECHAIN mode triggers the curve from an actual kick or other incoming signal, making it suitable for syncopated rhythms, live drums, and patterns that do not follow the beat grid. RATE controls the length of the dip from two bars down to a sixteenth note, including triplet values. SENSITIVITY sets the sidechain trigger level, LISTEN lets you monitor the incoming sidechain, and SMOOTH rounds sharp corners in the curve to help prevent clicks. ARPUMP operates with zero latency. With DEPTH at zero, the output is bit identical to the input, and no processing is applied while the transport is stopped.
