E42 Equalizer brings traditional equalization and dynamic frequency control together in one flexible processor. Create up to ten bands across the spectrum and use each one for broad tonal shaping, precise corrective work, or responsive processing that changes with the incoming signal. Each band can operate as a conventional static EQ, while compatible bands can be switched into Dynamic mode when a fixed boost or cut is not enough. Dynamic processing lets the EQ respond only when energy around the selected frequency crosses the threshold, making it useful for controlling intermittent resonances, changing low-end buildup, aggressive upper mids, or frequency ranges that need different treatment from one moment to the next. Six filter shapes are available, including Bell, Low Shelf, High Shelf, High Pass, Low Pass, and Notch. Frequency, Gain, and Q provide precise control over placement and shape, while dynamic bands add Threshold, Range, Attack, and Release controls for determining when the band moves, how far it moves, and how quickly it responds. The interactive graph makes it easy to position and shape bands directly, while the real-time spectrum display provides immediate visual feedback about the signal beneath the EQ curve. Dynamic movement is reflected in the display as the processor responds, helping you see both the static tonal shape and the changes occurring over time. E42 can handle simple tasks such as filtering and broad tonal balance just as easily as detailed resonance control and dynamic correction. It is suitable for individual tracks, buses, vocals, drums, guitars, bass, instruments, and full mixes where precise control over the frequency spectrum is needed.
