ARCLIP
Precision clipping with transparent control
Peakline is a peak shaper and loudness clipper designed to control transients, increase density, and push level while giving you control over clipping character, high-frequency edge, low-end protection, ceiling, and oversampling.
More Bass. More Punch. More Control.

Getting a mix louder is easy. Getting it louder without flattening everything that made it hit in the first place is the harder part. Peak clipping can remove short transient peaks before they consume headroom, allowing drums, buses, instruments, and full mixes to become denser and louder without relying entirely on compression or limiting. Peakline is built to make that process more controllable. Three clipping modes give you different ways to reshape peaks. Soft provides a smoother, rounded clipping character. Hard delivers firmer, more direct peak control. Punch adds a more aggressive, impact-oriented response designed to help transients feel energetic rather than simply flattened. The Shape control determines how strongly the selected clipping character affects the signal, while Drive lets you push the processed signal harder into the final ceiling. Ceiling sets the maximum level of the clipped path, and Mix makes it possible to blend the processed signal with the original for parallel peak shaping. Peakline also gives you control over which parts of the signal are emphasized as they hit the clipper. Edge changes the contribution of upper-frequency material, allowing a source to feel sharper and more aggressive or smoother and less edgy. Low Protect helps keep deep low frequencies from dominating the clipping process, allowing you to retain weight while pushing the rest of the signal harder. For cleaner nonlinear processing at stronger settings, Peakline includes Off, 2x, 4x, and 8x oversampling. Use Peakline lightly to trim a few stubborn peaks before a limiter, push drums harder for more impact, control a snare without conventional compression, or drive a full mix into greater density and loudness. The goal is not simply to cut peaks. It is to decide how those peaks are reshaped, and what happens to the character of the sound when you push them.
