Phase Garden

Phase Garden takes the familiar sound of a phaser and expands it into a constantly evolving modulation effect. Instead of a single repeating sweep, three independent phaser voices move together, each with its own modulation relationship, sweep behaviour, feedback character, and stereo position. At restrained settings, Phase Garden adds smooth, dimensional movement to synths, guitars, pads, drums, vocals, and full mixes. Increase Spread to separate the three voices into a wider, more complex field, or introduce Drift to let their relationships gradually change over time. Wild adds controlled unpredictability to the modulation. Individual voices can occasionally change pace, alter their sweep, become more prominent, or move away from the others before settling back into the overall pattern. This creates phasing that evolves without feeling locked to a perfectly repeating cycle. From subtle and spacious movement to liquid, resonant, tangled, and unstable textures, Phase Garden offers a more organic approach to classic phasing while keeping the effect recognizably rooted in the sound of a phaser.
