See title; quads are in a pretty good spot, but the unison hits on the bass drums don't have the same "oomph" (as one other reviewer put it) as they used to even with accents, as much as I do like being able to hear splits without unisons completely overpowering the rest of the ensemble. The snares have sounded really weak since the previous patch on every dynamic below ff, and now accents are barely noticeable in playback. Shots are also quieter than unaccented hits in that dynamic range now for some reason?? Even at ff, they barely sound louder than regular hits. Overall, it's still useable - leagues ahead of the disaster that the Muse Brass team keeps subjecting us to - but there's still improvements to be made.
Cymbals and tenor drums are well balanced now, but bass drums no longer have oomf and accents are merely suggestions. Snares sound kind of feathery on unaccented hits even at ff dynamics.
unaccented notes are a good volume now with this recent update. (I'm still hoping for more than 5 basses though🙏🙏🙏)
The drumline sounds a lot weaker in the most recent update.
I love using this soundfont, I use this to transcribe percussion parts from HBCU's and i loved how powerful the Unison Drum Hit on the bass drum sounded, it mimicked the powerful hits from any hbcu band percussion, as well as the snare. Unfortunately, due to a recent update, the bass drum just sounds so bland now, it doesn't have that same punch it used to have unaccented or accented. The snare is also messed up too, the accents dont really dont sound liked accented notes anymore. I just really hope theres a way to change it back to make it sound like that again or if they bring out another update to fix it.
Please add a full 10 Marching Bass line instead of just 5, it would be nice to have it just like how it used to be with the options of 10 Basses, especially with the great sound! Very satisfied with the sounds of the drumline tho!

I noticed the regular rimshots on the snare drums are louder with an accent instead of a marcato. Tenor drums are generally too quiet in an ensemble setting. I always have to turn them up via the mixer.
These do not sound like marching drums. In fact, the snare drums sound more like tenor drums.
Bad! new update changed the Sound of the big drum kit. Now it Sound like jazz drums instead of rock drums.

The sound lines up pretty well with the rest of the band and isn’t overpowing like it percussion used to be in previous versions. The only issue is that the snare drum doesn’t have a “snare off” option. Other than that it’s perfect.
As a member of a marching band containing a member trying to play for the blue coats, I have heard a lot of advanced parts. This sound really good! It’s mostly accurate, but I do have a few recomendations if I may. - DYNAMICS The tenor drums dont seem to support crescendos, and from what I’ve seen, when the snare crescendos, it seems to have two different sounds play. -ARTICULATION While different types of accented, or “louder” articulation does offer a change in volume, I feel like they arent loud enough, and sforzando’s give no change in volume. -PLAY FREEDOM For cymbals, there are not enough sounds in my personal oppinion. I feel as if there could be more. -Inconsistent articulation and rudiments(?) Some things like the stroke that allows rolls are not able to be used in other instances going from a marching piece to, lets say a custom piece.
TL;DR Amazing for a FREE instrument but cymbal crash choke is unbalanced [too loud] and seems to be a full-up sample while the crash seems to be a lower sample. In the future it would be nice to have full-up/above-and-into-shoulders samples and lower/at-and-into-upper-abs samples. I wish a free drumline instrument of this quality existed 23 years ago when I was arranging music on a daily basis in my undergrad days. Coincidentally, as someone that marched cymbal line my final 2 seasons of marching band the Cymbal sounds are the ones irking me. The crash sound is quieter than the choke even though to do a choke you are usually crashing the cymbals first.
Everything sounds/works great but there are some small issues I have - Marcatos not giving accurate playback (quieter than accents + quiet when paired with rimshots) - 6 Bass drums minimum would be greatly appreciated as many bands march 6 bass drums. - Accessories (cowbells, blocks, cymbals) on tenors as well as snares would be greatly appreciated as it is also common for tenorlines to have those types of accessories as well. Again, overall very good but I would change some small things to make it even better- thank you Musescore!
I like the single tenors. They sound nice. The new tenor and bass techniques are also useful.
I used this to put my favorite bands music into musescore, and it sounded so good. would recomend

Is there any way to indicate the fingering with the position of the note on the shaft for snare for example ?
This drumline would be perfect for a sports game, especially on the college level. All that is missing is a set of brass instruments for marching bands.
