Dark Fairytale Instruments is a series of virtual instruments meticulously sampled from the personal collection of German composer Oskar Schuster. He creates his virtual instruments with a focus on organic sound, natural imperfection, and musical character, avoiding the clinical perfection that has always made him shy away from sampled instruments as a composer. Instead of emulating polished studio recordings, his goal is to preserve what distinguishes real instruments and bring their inexplicable analog magic and charm into the digital world.
