A-SID turns the C64's legendary SID filter into a wah effect for your DAW. It simulates the original analog filter found in the C64, including its distinctive resonant bandpass response and deliberately steppish behavior. Choose from 16 discrete values for cutoff, LFO amount, and LFO speed, then use the plugin's visual interface to control and monitor the effect in real time. The filter covers approximately 400 Hz to 2.2 kHz, with a sinusoidal LFO ranging from around 0.4 to 25 Hz. The "high-resolution" interface provides visual feedback as the filter moves, while the intentionally limited controls preserve the character of the original hardware.
