Bassliner is an award-winning MIDI bassline and harmony generator designed to help producers create musical, professional-quality patterns quickly. Built for modern dance music, it uses advanced algorithms based on Dreeemwave’s scientific research to generate basslines and harmonies that fit your chosen style and groove. Generate new ideas in seconds, then shape them to fit your track. Variation Control lets you lock the parts of a pattern you like and generate alternatives around them, while Create Similar provides more focused variations. For more unexpected results, switch to Experimental mode. Import your own MIDI into the Piano Roll to guide the generation process, or edit generated basslines directly inside the plugin. Finished patterns can be dragged into your DAW or routed as MIDI for further editing, arranging, and sound design. Bassliner also includes a Feedback Pool of popular patterns informed by user feedback, plus a Bassline Library for saving and revisiting your own ideas. Unlike generative systems trained on large collections of existing songs, Bassliner uses purpose-built algorithms rather than a song-trained AI model.

- Introducing Offline Mode!
- If you are offline or your computer is unable to communicate with our cloud generator server, Bassliner will seamlessly transition to its built-in offline algorithms. This ensures you can keep generating patterns without interruption. When this occurs, a red OFFLINE MODE notification will appear directly above the ALGORITHM label.
- During offline mode, most parameters are unavailable and their respective controls will be greyed out. However, all workflow features like Lock Zones, User Input Awareness, and all remaining Piano Roll controls stay fully active to help guide your musical ideas.
- To quit offline mode, click on the red OFFLINE MODE notification.
