During installation, the process never completes and the installation continues to run indefinitely.
I cant install it
I have a fiber optic connection, simply tapping install here downloads Gigabytes of data, then nothing happens, the spinner here keeps spinning while there's no installation window at all. Why ruin a perfectly normal installer to a terrrible UX redirecting from several places only to fail this miserably and add very harsh friction to sign up, download, open, search, redirect, then install and then fail?
I agree it took for ever to install. Like over 30 minutes but when It did finish it has worked super smoothly. I really appreciate this tool for the simplicity it gives to some of the steps of my audio production. There are still issues, the noise reduction isn't perfect, sometimes reduces parts that should be left alone, and the track separation isn't always right, sometimes leaves little blips in the wrong tracks, but for what it is as a free tool, I am very impressed and grateful for it!
Like many of them said it before I am...it is just loading for eternity and anything happens.
I have version 3.7.5 and it will not download, it just continuously endlessly loads.
Will not install
The addition of these AI tools to an already powerful editor is awesome! I have no idea why people are griping about 'removal from base app', because these have never been part of the base app; not in the 10+ years I've been using it anyway. Stem separation and AI assisted noise removal? Awesome! Sure, the audio generation isn't brilliant, but then I wouldn't expect it to be w/o the power of a cloud behind it.
Stuck installing forever, why remove features from the base app so I have to use inferior third party applications?
No install
Like many others, will not install. Error message says, "Unable to install OpenVINO AI tools."
Best plugin I've used, thanks
I can't use this plugin, it just doesn't appear.
Spinning circle for a while, but will not install.
It just stays on the spinning circle logo and doesn't install.
At all
openvino ai tools will not install.
I'm seeing reviews from as far back as Aug 9th that the installer just goes in a loop (Windows) Musehub can't install Openvino. Disabled all anti virus/firewall - still nothing Sad experience.
update audacity if it doesn't show it shows the minimum reqired version RIGHT THERE
Gave up trying to install after I saw all the other failures (Mac)
For some odd reason, OpenVINO doesn't appear to show in Audacity. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it so many times, but it still doesn't seem to show. Maybe there's something wrong with the new update? I have a couple of bonus things I'd like to see added to the Music Separation feature: 1). The ability to split the stereo track (of each separation or the entire track) into discrete left, center and right outputs, with the mono content being decoded and subtracted from the original stereo track and placed into separate mono channels of its own, with the panned stereo content being split into separate stereo channels; with the same step adjustment parameters and element separation parameters as well as a gain adjustment parameter. This could be great for creating rudimentary backing tracks with backing vocals, or creating vocal analysis clips or sampling lead vocals or backing vocals. 2). The ability to compare two or more different mixes of a song (assuming the mixes are properly phase-aligned) and decode the common elements of both mixes onto different tracks with the discrete elements decoded onto separate tracks; with the same step adjustment parameters and element separation parameters. I've used OpenVINO to play around with separating the stems of the different mixes of The Sims 4 songs, and I'd love to have this feature expanded to pull out extra elements from different mixes. Update: Found a temporary workaround for the not showing problem, had to go into Preferences, click on the Modules option in the left-hand menu, scroll through the list of modules and find the one labeled mod-openvino, and change the dropdown option for it to Enabled. When I found mod-openvino, it was showing as Failed for some reason, so I had to reset it manually, but don't think this workaround is a stable one yet.
even after 2 hours, installing the latest audacity update, restarting it audacity … its nowhere to be found. Boo.
