It's a really good piece of software. Admittedly, it is a bit hard to learn at first, (like a lot of good software) but there are tutorials out there and once you learn how to use it, it becomes a very powerful tool for musical notation. The piano sound is adequate, but the strings and guitar are ridiculous. I don't even know what that "violin" is anymore. Thankfully, though, there are sound plugins you can download from the Musehub app (in my case, a Steinway piano and strings that sound like strings). Overall, a very nice app and I hope the team continues to update it over time.

I had to learn by my self how do use this, and some of the features are obscure, but otherwise its awesome

It's good. There are limited guitar features, but other than that, it's pretty great.

I’ve been with Musescore about three years now, and the quality and complexity of it is immaculate. I cannot recoomend this enough, and with the use of plugins, you can get FL Studio-level compositions going in no time, completely for free.

Since 4.6.5 I cant log into any other computers which I need to do, anytime I try I get taken to Musescore's website and it says im good to go then on return to the app I am not logged in

I will MuseScore 4 has certainly helped me progress aimproves a composer overall. I really appreciate how hard the creative team works to improve this product. But I MUCH prefer the use of the hairpins in Muse 3 where "properties" gave me absolute control of diminuendos and crescendos. I struggle too much with in Muse 4, though the drop-down dynamics menus are great! Keep working Team! Thank you.

The epitome of enshittification. Has the potential to be so much more but instead we get ads, broken playback for PAID sounds, and buggy software.

Upon upgrading to 4.6.5 the playback function will no longer work. Everything was fine with 4.6.4 I tired to go back to the prior version 4.6.4 by uninstalling musehub and musescore studio, but the installation program just reinstalled 4.6.5 and I am now totally stuck.

Everything worked fine until update version. Now the program will not open and is giving me an error message that I don't have permission to open the program. Please help would like to continue to work with this great program.

I was just able to use Muse Sounds one version before by manually copying Muse MuseSamplerCoreLib.dll to system32 (which is ridiculous), but this update broke everything again, now even this hotfix doesn't work. The logs say it could not init the sampler from the AppData location. Please do not release untested software.

Since update, it doesnt let me open palletes, it crashes when doing so. I have tried everything, reverted to Factory settings but still no luck, it litterally makes no sense

Despite owning Finale 27.4, Dorico Pro, MuseScore 4.6.4 remains my preferred notation software. As I become more proficient with it, its capabilities continue to improve. Notably, the Spitfire plug-ins (Instruments) enhances its functionality, enabling seamless export to MP3 format. Currently, I utilize a MacBook Pro equipped with 16 gigabytes of RAM and a Mac Mini with the same RAM capacity. Both devices operate flawlessly without any encountered issues. I commend the MuseScore team for their exceptional work.

Not sure when everything went wrong, but my old Muse Guitars pack that I used in every score is now gone + trying to input notes for percussion is hell + I overall hate everything. Stick to older versions

I'm trying desperately to download Musescore 4.6.1. That worked really well. But there are so many bugs in 4.6.3. - it crashes all the time; repeat Voltas have to be removed to insert dashes in lyrics; pages move all over the place when inserting lyrics, page 2 and subsequent pages are incomprehensibly spaced...etc etc...avoid at the moment until these bugs are resolved

It worked for the first four minutes and then the audio crashed or something, because now when I hit play, the line just stands still and no audio comes out. I barely have one gigabyte left, and idk what to do. But other than that, I think its pretty nice. I've wanted this for years, but now, I'm not that sure that it was really worth the wait. It's kind of a disappointment by now. D:)

Clearly the best notation and music app and for free! Easy to handle and work with! It has a variety of choices for everything!

it is easy to use but why cant you change time signatures in the middle of the score like the way in the new score wizard where the max is 99/63 but in mid score is 12/8 pls let us do this

For free software this is great. But every update comes with some decent features, and seems to take away key ones that can render your entire composition useless. The amount of times I’ve had to start a new composition from scratch after an update is worth probably a week of work. If the app is working for you do NOT update. EVER.

it is blocking my whole computer and breaking my apps, nothing works anymore.

It's still crashing immediately upon opening in 4.6.3. 4.6.1 did not have this problem, but other than that, I really have no clue. Great product when it works though!

I cannot use the application for more than 1 minute after the 4.6.2 update, I need to write parts asap and this is not an issue that can be easily fixed on my end. FIX PLEASE!!!!
